So I wanted this sideblog thing so that I could link to videos that I liked without making it a main post on my blog. I just got around to posting some stuff there. I’ve only linked to two videos because I’m not fond of the format. It’s lumping everything together in a big pile and “pretty” it aint. Maybe my husband’s solution is better. So yeah, over on the side of my site, there’s a lump of text that contains some links.
I just wanted you to know that I’m aware it looks like crap.

When I was a kid, my parents used to let me stay up and watch the Elvira show with them. One night Elvira showed a movie called Psychomania and I fell in love. It is possibly one of the worst movies ever made, but that’s part of the attraction. Anyway, while I was in Arkansas my sister helped me remember it - we used to sing the song from it all the time. As you watch this video, try to imagine how annoyed you would get if you had to listen to two teenage brats sing this song in the backseat during family vacations. Yeah, that’s how my father must’ve felt.

While I was in Arkansas recently, (which is why I haven’t posted a video in a while) I went with my dad to watch him play with this band called Sticky Hungwell and the Blowup Dolls. I must note that my Dad claims that he is not a member of this band. As he would say, “He is not Sticky Hungwell and he is definately not a blowup doll”. He only “sits in” with them every Sunday for practice and every time they play a gig. So sit back, and enjoy this fabulous band. By the way, the song playing through the first half is a Sticky original titled “Sally”.

So I really didn’t like my first video blog, but I went ahead and put it up because….. oh I don’t know… I just did. I’m more fond of this one - it’s me and Clint being stupid and laughing - a lot. I would have subtitled myself during some of it, but I couldn’t figure out what I was saying.
