Dr. Phil, can you please help?

I like people - usually. Today has been a fairly frustrating day to be reading the videoblogging list. I had two choices - give up or make a video. I decided to make a video. I really may send this in :)

You have to post the transcript to the Yahoo group and everyone, all 1000 people, has to see this vlog. You couldn’t have said/shown this any better. Thanks for speaking for us that haven’t spoken how they feel about what has been going on in the group! Love it!

I think submitting it to Dr. Phil would be an act of compassion, art, humor, media subversion and, and, and…it’s just right. Do it!

At the very least, the interns who vet Dr. Phil’s incoming stuff will get a laugh out of it.

Mel: That was hilarious - and right on. A lot of us feel exactly the same way.

I loved the pigtails and your cat scratching him/herself as you cried in the corner. SO perfect. :)

A classic! I’m definately adding this to Richard’s Picks … very creative, funny, and timely …

Glad to see that we can still have a sense of humor about it all! I especially love the cat casually scratching and licking herself while you’re sobbing over the laundry.

    Hi

I love all the videos you do but THIS ONE WAS THE BEST!

That is me in the morning too!

Glad to hear I’m not alone in my pain. It seems like there is a post-Wired disorder within the group.

  15. July 25th, 2005 | 8:46 am

    Thank you.

  16. July 26th, 2005 | 10:21 pm

    LOL, just laughing…

  17. July 28th, 2005 | 11:19 am

Excellent. That’s pretty much how I feel too. And Jay is right - that Dr. Phil is a big fucking idiot. He’s always spouting off about other people’s problems and trying to interject some down-home wisdom into his show but it never works.

    Mel, that is great.

Isn’t Dr. Phil Oprah’s love toy?

  19. August 26th, 2005 | 7:06 am

The group needs more than Dr Phil!
You capture the angst so poignantly,
I too had to shut off the deluge!
I was getting shingles and that bad smell
you get around outdoor stadiums where people
    drink excessively!

    Latecomer to this once…
the group has come a long long way…
I think I quit checking it in March.

  22. September 24th, 2005 | 12:18 am

omg, that was awesome!!!! I look forward to more of these.. Very cool. and very very funny. =)

I’m still laughing. I totally fell off the group. It kicked my arse. I also had to step away form the vlogs. I had an addiction.

We’re in massive need of psychological help here in the vlogosphere. We’re falling a part. Are there any psychologists out there that specialize in group therapy for online user community. We need a full time psychologist in there arbitrating the emotional shit storm.

BTW, the cat… made me burst out laughing in an even bigger fit.

    Yeap, still good. Still relevant.

You’re awesome mel. Say hellow to clint for me.

  24. February 8th, 2006 | 2:05 pm

SO TRUE… these days the group is obsessed with critisizing Rocketboom. I’m constantly defending them…

    Great video,
    Kitka

i missed this the first time around,
but thanks to the Yahoo Videoblogging Group,
    i found it!

whenever things get out of hand, your video will sneak up and bop everybody over the head.
